Feakle International Traditional Music Festival

5 Days of music, song, dance with concerts Céili's, workshops, lectures, recitals, singing and sessions. The Festival is based in the homely village of Feakle, East Clare, Co. Clare, Ireland. The Feakle Music Festival has its origins within the rich array of musical talents that abound on the East Clare area. From the era of the house dance, through the Hall dances and pub sessions - a rich tradition has been maintained and strengthened thus emanating in a very successful Music Festival. The Festival started some years ago in 1988 and has gone from strength to strength. It is now respected worldwide as one of the best of it's kind in the country.

Scariff Harbour Festival
Scariff, Co. Clare
August 4th – August 6th

An open-air street based, three day event, with dual aims of highlighting the attractions and amenities of Lough Derg, the inland waterways, Scariff Harbour, Scariff Town, and the East Clare countryside and of promoting local, community based arts, crafts, and music ranging from traditional to jazz and cross border cultural exchanges with Nothern Ireland. This festival is family friendly, with lots of interesting things to keep children happy too.

Scariff Harbour Festival

Feile Brian Boru Festival
Killaloe, Co. Clare
July 29th – August 3rd

Feile Brian Boru is an annual five-day event held to keep alive the name of Irelands greatest high King Brian Boru in his native place. Step back in time to Viking Ireland by visiting our open air Viking village market and street Pageant. Learn about the history of Killaloe and balling by taking part in our guided walking tours and historical boat trips, or come and join in the fun with many water and sporting events. Participation in our events is greatly encouraged most of which are free of charge.
